As a child, Kelly learned that living is an intrinsically creative process. These days she expresses her experiences via mixed media on canvas, creating artworks that include handwritten letters, handmade paper, maps, music scores, and dried flowers. Kelly is a texture person, who feels her way through life and through her paintings.
